The No Scales Just Songs Vocal Workout Vol. 2

The follow-up to Susan Anders' original vocal workout, Vol. 2 uses the same teaching format with eighteen new songs and an expanded guidebook. Warm up your voice, learn good singing technique, and build or maintain your vocal power with this song-based method.
"I am totally in love with these CDs - my drive to work in the morning is so cool now."

Tony Morrow

"It's so well organized and appropriate for all levels, thank you."

Martin Green, Director of Vocal Studies, Citrus College

"Thanks so much for doing all of this work for me."

Deanna Delore, Vocal Instructor, Hancock Jr. College

"Your guidebook has been a constant companion—I've stuck with it more than any other program I've ever tried. It's been a delight and a pleasure to work with, and I really can't thank you enough for putting it out there."

Neil Goldstein
Volume 2 has the same format and level of difficulty as Vol. 1 and can be used independently from Vol. 1. As with Vol. 1, the songs on Vol. 2 gradually increase in difficulty as the workout progresses, and are combined with singing lessons so you warm up and build vocal strength correctly. The two CDs and 75 page guidebook include detailed singing technique instruction, tips for staying healthy on tour, how to belt correctly and more.

Beginning singers can learn how to sing correctly and develop their voices by singing through the workout at their own pace, with or without the guidebook. Experienced singers can skip the audio singing lessons and use the workout to warm up and maintain their vocal technique and strength.

Volume 2 includes:
  • Two CDs of 18 fully produced songs and audio singing lessons. CD #1 includes vocals and instructional introductions. CD #2 has the same songs without vocals, followed by a section on how to stylize the songs.
  • A 76-page guidebook with detailed vocal technique information, troubleshooting hints, and vocal stylizing ideas for each song, as well as chapters on dealing with colds, allergies, the environment, and aging.

Sing the Warm-up Set of ten songs: to loosen up, breathe correctly, increase your range, and to build control, resonance and better tone.

Sing the Workout Set of eight songs: to increase your volume, vocal endurance, sustenance, belting ability, and pitch dexterity.

Three versions are available: Alto/Bass/High Tenor, Baritone/Soprano, and an expanded version which includes all four Alto/Bass & Baritone/Soprano CDs.
